Meet Nicole
Welcome to my neurodiversity-affirming space! I'm a dedicated occupational therapist passionate about working with children, teens, and parents. With kindness, patience, and boundless energy, I'm here to support and empower neurodiverse individuals on their journeys to independence and a better quality of life.
My goal is to provide and advocate for a safe, comfortable therapeutic environment for all my clients. I use a holistic approach that involves the entire family unit and their wider support systems to ensure the best possible outcomes for my clients.
My Passion Areas
My heart lies in empowering individuals to embrace themselves and feel comfortable in their own skin. I strive to help people feel confident in engaging in everyday activities and making meaningful connections with others in an authentic way. I aim to support neurodivergent families in achieving their goals through respect, collaboration, and empowerment.
I enjoy working with Autistic and ADHD children and adolescents. While I primarily focus on children and teens, I also enjoy working with AuADHD adults who seek to balance home, work, and self-care within their roles as parents.
I have a deep love for animals, especially dogs, which has led me to become a Certified Animal Assisted Therapist with my dog, Riley!
Areas of Additional Learning
In addition to being an occupational therapist, I am trained in the Astronaut Protocol, certified as an Animal Assisted Therapist, and am a Circle of Security® Parenting™ Facilitator.
I continuously seek to enhance my skills and knowledge about autism, ADHD, mental health, and trauma-informed practices. I prioritize learning from trusted, neurodiverse-led organizations and evidence-based sources to provide the best care possible.
